Description
A water-based primer for preparing wood, MDF and suitable existing finishes for a compatible painted finish.
Application guide
Drying times assume about 70°F and 50% humidity. Allow longer in cool or humid conditions, and follow the current can label.
Prepare & apply
Clean and prepare the surface, then apply one or two coats. Spray application is recommended. Hand application is limited to small areas such as face frames and edges where permitted by the label; large brushed areas may not level well.
Drying & next coat
Allow at least 2 hours between coats and before the next compatible coating, allowing longer when needed. Lightly sand dry primer with 220–320 grit and remove dust. Follow your topcoat’s instructions.
Compatibility & important tips
Requires a compatible paint topcoat such as Enduro White Poly. White Undercoat is not a substitute for Stain Blocker where tannin or stain bleed is a concern. Test adhesion and the complete system first.
